A Japanese term, "boy's love" is a direct translation (shounen=boy, ai=love), used to describe pretty boys romancing other pretty boys.

Comes from the Japanese phrase yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi nashi, meaning "no climax, no resolution, no meaning". In plain fangirl modern day terms, yaoi is used to describe boys sexing up other boys. You can be sure to see plenty of this word on this site.
